The Dailly camp supply two talented greyhounds for the 2016 Shepparton Cup, which is set to run on Saturday night.
Marley Bale won the fourth heat of the Shepparton Cup at his first look at the track in a time of 25.192sec from box eight.
“He does like the pink and he used it well, its a shame we didn’t draw the pink in the final,” co-trainer Tom Dailly explained.
“Marley Bale went to Ballarat a few weeks ago and had never seen the track and went super so I thought we would keep him away from Shepparton because he seems to go well first up.”
Shima Song was also a first starter on the Shepparton track for the Dailly camp who overcame early pressure to gain a rug in the 2016 Shepparton Cup.
“She can actually get out of a box in the odd occasion, she has come out at Sandown like a rocket a couple of times and it didn’t surprise me tonight,” Tom continued.
“We she got to the front I knew she was strong as well so she went good with a great turn of speed too!.”
